General tasks

Provide support for peas using pea sticks and use suitable netting to protect plants from birds. Keep watering young plants; water well before sowing seeds if the soil  is dry. Keep hoeing the area around broadbean, onion, garlic and any other vegetables.

Sow / plant

Beetroot, Broad Beans,  Brussels Sprouts,  Carrots, Chards, Kohl Rabi,  Lettuce, Peas, Potatoes (first earlies, main crop towards the end of the month), Radish, Spinach, Turnip.

Harvest

Broccoli, Purple Sprouting, Cabbage (spring greens), Lettuce, Leek, Rocket, Spinach, Swiss Chard, Rhubarb.
