General tasks

Clear up beds with any finished crops; either sow over-wintering crops such as, garlic, onion, broad bean and  green manure or dig out all perennial weeds, apply a bit of muck and cover the plot with cardboard or black plastic. Draw soil up around brassicas to protect from frost; mulch using leaf mould and garden waste. Support tall brassica plants to protect from winds. Protect all brassica plants using net before pigeons return.

French bean, runner bean, courgette, marrow, pumpkin, squash, broccoli, summer cabbage, cauliflower, lettuce,  spinach, chard, spring onion, sweet corn, tomato, potato, celery, radish, apple, pear, raspberry.
