General tasks

Weather permitting, make compost pit and raised beds for next year and clear/improve paths leading to your plot and between your plots. Prune soft fruit - raspberry, gooseberry, currants - and tree fruit - apple and pears but not stone fruit - plum, greengage. Mulch spring cabbage, kale and purple sprouting broccoli and cover the plant with net to protect from pigeons if you already have not done so.

Rhubarb, gooseberry, raspberry canes during frost-free periods.

Brussels Sprouts, Cabbage, Kale, Lamb Lettuce, Parsnip, Perpetual Spinach, Swiss Chard, Swede.
